Track: Pre-Conference Workshop
Let’s face it. The challenges in software teams are ever increasing – less people, less time, technologies changing constantly, and ever increasing business expectations, are clearly the norms in today’s teams. Nowhere is this more self-evident than within testing teams, since the pressure increases steadily as we move down through the life-cycle. This creates a tremendous leadership challenge for testing team managers, group leaders or anyone chartered with directing software testing efforts. However, there is good news to this challenge. The opportunity is ripe for effective test leaders to differentiate themselves and their teams as they meet and exceed organizational expectations. You just need the tools and the will. This workshop will focus on leadership soft skills development. We will share lessons and high impact methods that will fundamentally change the way you build and lead your teams as well as engage with your projects and stakeholders.
6 Things Attendees will Learn:
How to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
Verbal and formal methods to communicate testing state and product readiness
