F13-305: Certifiably Agile

Track: Agile Testing

The ISTQB has effected enormous progress within the software testing profession, with over 300,000 certificates issued at the Foundation and Advanced Level. While the ISTQB certifications have always been lifecycle-neutral, with the widespread use of agile methods on projects, we found the market wanted the ISTQB”s take on how to apply known testing best practices within an agile lifecycle. So, the ISTQB has responded, and is finishing its development of an extension to the Foundation Level that addresses agile testing. Drawing on the expertise of a world-wide team of practitioners, consultants, and academics with over 100 years of cumulative experience with agile, this new syllabus will be released in March 2014. Come join ISTQB Agile Working Group Chair Rex Black to get a sneak preview of what”s coming next.
