Track: Test Automation
This session will cover a test automation approach where each QA Engineer will be able to perform automation of test scenarios without solid knowledge in automation. It explains the basic concepts of presenting test scenarios using actions and how each action is supported by a template (created in XML) that is actually used to build Automation. In this approach, QA Engineers enter needed data in the XML template, as they would if they had to enter data in the data file(s), and append a template to XML file. Using QTP, XML file gets parsed and execution of each action is performed. Also, there will be a demo of utility, which makes the process described above much easier and faster.
