F10 – 801: Weapons for Bug Hunting

Track: Hands-On Testing Techniques Lab

In practice, testers face a lot of challenges. We have to interpret or research requirements, make tough choices about regression testing, and report our status to management. At the heart of most testing, though, is discovering and clearly communicating bugs. In this session, the attendees will be introduced to, and actually apply new weapons during a real live bug hunt. Attendees who aren’t already familiar with heuristic triggers will hear about them for the first time, and will get to try these ideas during the session. Not only will the facilitator provide stories and guidance, but all testers surely have experience that will be valuable in this session. So, attend this session to learn and share bug hunting techniques that you can organically apply to your own context.
