Track/s: Automation
Ever had that feeling that you’re free-wheeling UP a hill when it comes to test automation? It promised so much for so long and when everything was done and dusted, actually delivered very little.
In this day and age, test automation has become a necessity for developing and testing software applications in a timely manner. So we’ve had to make automation work come hell or high water! In doing so we’ve experimented every which way but loose and come up with a set of approaches that can help maximize the potential for productive test automation.
Join me in this tutorial as we looks into creative techniques for removing some of the traditional overheads of automating testing eg. removing code from automated scripts, setting up/deploying frameworks, data/keyword driven automated testing, self-healing tests, output-less automated testing etc.
This Tutorial is designed for those with some exposure to test automation who wish to deliver low-maintenance, intuitive automated suites.
Workshop Takeaways:
- Learn how to remove traditional automation overheads.
- How to set up and deploy automation framework in a user-friendly manner.
- Creative techniques for keyword/data-driven automated testing.
- How to construct and uses for output-less automated testing.
- How to minimize maintenance of automated testing.
