S13-201: Persona Based Testing and Risk Assessment

Track: Test Strategy, Process and Design

For years we have been through the traditional testing cycles where EVERYTHING needs to be tested every time. As software applications become more enterprise sized and cover more than just application territory, we need to find a better way to focus our testing efforts in order to insure greater customer and end consumer acceptance of the products we build. In this session you will learn how to create and apply Persona Based Testing as well as how to assess risk and decide if this approach will work bets for you. This combination of eye opening sentiment and a chase of the truth will leave you feeling more comfortable with your ability to test smarter and not necessarily more.
