This session will cover what can be good about threading an application and identify some of the performance problems that can be found.

Participants will learn:

  • Why are data races important
  • Why synchronization can slow the system down
  • How to identify threading anti-patterns

To conclude this session, the speaker will present some of the tools she uses to help uncover performance problems and threading bugs.
