F10 – 502: Metrics: A Path for Success

Track: Test Strategy & Process

Metrics and data are everywhere, which metrics should I use? What data can I use to help see trending? What make sense for my project? We’ll take a deep dive into some key metrics which can assist your team in go or no-go decisions. Some metrics we’ll review are: EDR (error discovery rate), RSI (requirements stability index), and more. Some other data we’ll review include root cause of defects, pass rates, environmental availability, defect leakage, test effort variance and more. Each company houses their data differently, with that said, we’ll explore ways to get the data you need in order to analyze, learn from and implement recommendations in the future.
