As they undertake more agile projects, IT enterprises are seeking to scale the use of offshore testing on Agile teams. The use of Agile offshore has been written about at the project level, but what lessons are being learned at the enterprise level–particularly with respect to testing? What techniques are working to scale offshore manual and automated testing for widespread use by agile teams? We will share experiences from actual projects deploying outsourced testing staff on Agile projects. Christopher Duro – Test Architect, Cognizant
Chris Duro is an IT strategist with 15+ years of experience in quality assurance, process improvement, and IT governance. He worked for BusinessEdge Solutions as a test architect on Wall Street. Prior to BusinessEdge, he was an agile/RUP coach and test mentor with Valtech Technologies. Currently he is a Practice Lead for banking and financial services testing at Cognizant, one of the world’s largest testing organizations. Mr. Duro has led waterfall and agile automation pilots, demos, and workshops for clients across the US and Canada.
